| IINSTALLATION
PROCEDURE FOR GL-3688: |
| Step 1: Remove
battery cover cap and insert the (3-pcs.) button cell
batteries into the battery compartment and replace cap.
(Correct battery polarity requires that all negative
(-) sides of the batteries face toward laser head.) |
|
|
Step 2: On the back of the mounting base, peel
off the adhesive tape's protective paper and secure
the base near the bottom of your putter's grip. Be sure
to place the end with the grooved lines at the bottom,
closer to the putting head. (The top of the base is
where the laser activation button will be located, so
position the base on your grip accordingly.)
|
| |
| Step 3: Slide the main body
onto the attached base. The main body can also be easily
removed and placed onto another putter, which already
has a base installed on it. |
|
|
Step 4: Press the
laser activation button to light the laser. It will
then shut off automatically after 10 seconds. If the
laser does not light, verify that the batteries were
installed properly.
(Warning: DO NOT look directly into the laser beam source
or point the beam at or near the eyes.) |
|
|
Step 5: Remove
the small rubber plug on the side of the laser head's
pivot point and (using the enclosed screwdriver) tighten
the screw until it is snug. Replace the rubber plug.
(The laser head should still be able to be moved by
hand, allowing for personal alignment to your putter.)
|
| |
| Step
1: |
Hold
the putter in a normal putting position |
| .. |
| Step
2: |
Press
the laser activation button and align the laser beam
by hand-adjusting the laser head.
Rotate the laser head into a position so that the beam
is perpendicular to the center of the putter head.
(Proper alignment is achieved when the laser beam projects
a straight line in front of the golf ball and also intersects
with the "sweet spot" of the putter.)
|
| 1. |
After being in use over
a period of time, the laser beam may become slightly
out of alignment. If this occurs, simply remove the
rubber plug, loosen the pivot screw, rotate the laser
head and re-tighten the screw. Replace the rubber plug
and re-position the alignment of the laser beam by hand.
